Dallas police arrested a 15 year old male after he accidentally shot and killed a 13 year old Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m., when officers responded to a shooting call on the 2200 block of Harlandale Avenue.
Upon arriving they found a 13 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
While investigating officers learned that a 15 year old male inside the home was holding a handgun when he accidentally shot the victim.
The teen, whose identity has not been released due to his age, was transported to Henry Wade where he was charged with criminal negligent homicide.
This investigation remains ongoing.
