A 14 year old was shot at a park in downtown Dallas Sunday night.
Around 11:30 p.m. Dallas officers were dispatched to a shooting call on the 1900 block of Pacific Avenue. When they arrived they found a teen suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Children’s Hospital with non life threatening injuries and is expected to survive.
Due to the age of the teen his identity will not be released.
According to police a nightclub hosted an end of summer bash for teens. A fight broke out, at a park, across the street from the club and that’s when someone pulled out a gun and opened fire striking the teen.
Authorities believe the teen was an innocent bystander. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and remains at large.
This investigation remains ongoing.
