A 13 year old Houston teen placed on life support after an off campus fight died Sunday.
According to reports Kashala Francis was assaulted by two girls after school Thursday and that one of the girls kicked her in the head. She attended Attucks Middle School.
The mother Mami Jackson told authorities she saw the bruise on her daughter head but she insisted she was alright. 
Francis was over her aunts house Saturday when she complained of a headache and then became delusional.
They notified the mother and she rushed over to the house and when she arrived she called emergency crews because her daughter was unconscious.
When officers arrived they found the girl unconscious and rushed her to Texas Children’s Hospital where she was placed on life support.
Doctors discovered a large tumor in the back of her head with a lot of built up fluid in her brain Sunday. 
It is unknown at the time whether the fight contributed Francis death or if she had a pre existing condition.
Houston police and HISD are investigating the fight.
