A 13 year old Pennsylvania boy is facing criminal homicide charges after he fatally shot his little brother for jumping on the bed.

The incident occurred on November 22 in Penn Hills while the 13 year old suspect was home alone with his three younger siblings.

According to reports Keegan McGivern,13 became angry when his 6,5 and 3 year old siblings began jumping on the bed.

McGivern went into his parents room grabbed the gun and pointed it at his 5 year old brother Connor Wolfe’s head.

He then shot shot the gun striking his 5 year old brother in the head. When police arrived McGivern initially told police his 6 year old brother did it on accident.

Wolfe was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

During the investigation officers learned that the suspect was upset and thought the safety lock was on the gun. He told police he pointed the gun at his younger brothers to scare them and get them to listen.

The teen was arrested earlier this week and has been charged with criminal homicide. He will also be charged as an adult because Pennsylvania law does not permit a charge of criminal homicide to be filed directly in juvenile court.

It is unclear if the parents will also be charged.

  1. Drop the charges on that kid amd file charges on the parents. An adult can have a difficult time babysitting children that age, how do you think a 13 uear old will handle all that pressure? I feel sorry for all of those children.
