11 Year Old Arkansas Boy Held Hostage And Killed By Father

An 11 year old boy is dead after being shot by his father who was later shot and killed by Little Rock police Friday night.
Officers responded to Karon Court after Maranda Alford showed up to the police station saying her son Jordan Roberts,11 had been kidnapped by his father Brent Martin,32.
When officers and SWAT arrived to the home they heard gunshots and immediately went outside the home to find Roberts in a bedroom suffering from gunshot wounds.
Martin was shot and killed by officers at the scene and Roberts was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The officers involved have been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
