Child Protective Services removed four children between the ages of 2 and 12 from the home of the Beaumont woman seen hitting her child with a belt Friday afternoon.
The spokeswoman for CPS Shari Pulliam confirmed that the children were successfully removed from the the home and a fifth child that resides in Houston was also taken into CPS custody.
A Family Judge signed the order Friday to allow the children to be removed from the home during the investigation.
The mother is expected to appear in family court on November 19th or 21st.
The mothers name has not been released at this time but she is under investigation after having a friend video record her going to her sons school, whooping him with a belt, threatening to harm him and calling him derogatory names.
The children’s ages are 1,2,3,7 and 12.
