A teacher and an office assistant are facing sexual assault charges involving a 14 year old girl.
The incident occurred back in 2018 and an investigation was sparked when the now 18 year old girl disclosed the information to a counselor in September of 2021.
Luis Escobar,59, and Alvaro Jimenez,71 were arrested on February 8 at Ministerios Bethania USA, where they were also living.
Escobar was a teacher that taught virtual classes there while Jimenez did office work.
It is believed that the victim met the men through the church but the assaults happened somewhere else.
Both men remain in Dallas County jail on three counts of aggravated child sexual assault.
Escobar is being held on a $450,000 bond.
Jimenez is being held on a $300,000 bond.
