A 33 year old Dallas registered sex offender turned himself in this week after being accused of sexually assaulting another child.

On October 4, Ricardo Marquez turned himself into Corinth PD on a warrant issued in connection with a 12 year old girl that went missing.

According to reports on July 16 Marquez picked up a 12 year old girl from in front of her home on the 2700 block of Cherokee Trail.

An Amber Alert was issued later that afternoon and police found the missing girl at a McDonald’s in Carrolton, Tx by herself that evening.

After Marquez turned himself in he was booked into Denton County Jail where he was charged with online solicitation of a minor under 14 and indecency with a child by sexual contact. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Due to the fact that Marquez had two prior charges in 2014 involving indecency with a child he is required to register as a lifetime sex offender. The child involved in that case was 13 at the time.
