A murder suspect was found deceased inside a residence Wednesday afternoon, after a standoff with Mansfield police.
Officers responded to a call regarding a man with a gun around 11:30am, on the 700 block of Fannin Lane. Upon arrival they found a deceased female inside a neighbors garage.
Authorities zeroed in on a nearby residence, but when they approached it they heard what sounded like a gunshot.
Officers obtained a search warrant and entered the home. Inside they found a man deceased from
a self inflicted gunshot wound.
The relationship between the two is unclear at this time.
Detectives are investigating to determine a motive.
