Juvenile Fatally Shot And Killed In Dallas

A juvenile was accidentally shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Dallas.

The incident happened around 2:20 p.m. on the 3000 block of Kiestridge Street when officers responded to a shooting call.

Upon arrival they found a juvenile male inside the residence with a gunshot wound to the head.

A second juvenile inside the home initially told officers that the victim had shot himself.

After through investigation officers determined that the second juvenile had found the gun, believed it was empty and pulled the trigger.

The victim was pronounced dead and no further details have been given at this time.

This investigation remains ongoing.
