Princeton police found the skeletal remains of a woman in February of 2022 and now Collin County Medical Examiners have identified the woman.

The woman has been identified as Mercedes Clement, a woman who was last seen on October 11, 2020 at the Koko Apartment Complex near Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas.

Clement was 25 at the time of her disappearance and was last seen parking her car and walking with a man into his apartment. When authorities reviewed the surveillance footage they never saw her leave due to a glitch in the camera.

On February 13, 2022 Princeton Police found human remains on Morning Dove Lane and County Route 477, near Lavon Lake.

On October 3, 2022 medical examiners identified the woman by using her dental record. Clement leaves behind a 6 year old son.

Authorities previously identified 37 year old Tanner Losson as a person of interest but have not confirmed whether not he remains a person of interest. He is currently in Dallas County Jail on an unrelated charge.

Clement’s actual cause of death has not been released at this time but detectives are still investigating to determine what led up to her death.
