Deceased Body Found Not Far From Where Missing Arlington Teacher’s Truck Was Found
Authorities found a deceased body while searching for a missing Arlington school teacher Monday.
Jocelyn Nunez was last seen Sunday on the 1600 block of Belzise Terrace, near East Maddox Avenue and U.S. 287.
After thorough searching the family pinged Nunez’s truck in the 6700 block of Nature’s Way in southwest Dallas.
A chopper flew over the wooded area as police and family searched.
Just hours after the teachers truck was found authorities discovered a deceased body.
Police have not confirmed the identity of the body but are calling Nunez’s dearth unexplained at this time.
No further information has been released.
Nunez was a kindergarten teacher at International Leadership of Texas in Arlington.
The school released a statement saying, “ “Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Nunez and her loved ones,” the statement said. “We are supporting the investigation in any way that we can, and we hope she is quickly located and reunited with her loved ones, safe and healthy.”
