Dallas Police Searching For Vehicle Involved In Fatal Hit And Run

Dallas police are investigating a hit and run crash that left a man dead Sunday.

Officers were called to a scene on the 3000 block of N. Hampton Rd. Upon their arrival they found an unknown man unresponsive in the street.

When emergency crews arrived they pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Apparently the man was crossing the street when an unknown driver in a dark colored suv struck him. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid or contact police.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevrolet SUV with dark-tinted windows, possibly a Chevrolet Equinox or Traverse.
