Dallas police are investigating after receiving a call about a deceased body in the street Monday morning.
Officers responded to the call around 5 a.m. to find a male victim between the ages of 25-35 in the roadway.
During the investigation officers learned that the victim was running across the street on the 6900 block of Lake June when he was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle did not stop to render aid and the victim died from his injuries.
Surveillance footage in the area caught the suspected drivers vehicle at the time of the hit and run.
This investigation is ongoing.
