Dallas Officers Search for Man That Fatally Shot Another Man During Road Rage Incident

Dallas police are investigating a road rage incident that left a 54 year old man dead.

On Monday, December 6 officers responded to a major accident on the Northbound North Central Expressway to the Westbound Woodall Rodgers ramp.

Upon arrival they found Carl Edmiston,54 and his 17 year old son inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Both the victim and his son were transported to an area hospital. Edmiston was pronounced dead and his son was treated for non life threatening injuries.

Officers believe the suspect and victim were involved in a road rage incident that led to the shooting.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle before officers could arrive.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police. CRIMESTOPPERS is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information leading to an arrest.
