Dallas police found a baby tiger inside a home while serving a warrant Wednesday for rapper Trap Boy Freddy.

Around 2 p.m. officers were assisting the U.S. Marshals with a federal warrant on the 2700 block of Meadow Gate Lane.

Officers arrested 30 year old Devarius Moore aka Trap Boy Freddy on weapons charges.

After the arrest rumors quickly sparked about a Tiger being on the loose possibly from the zoo. The Dallas zoo quickly responded to the rumors saying the tiger didn’t belong to them.

Authorities said those were all rumors and that the baby tiger remained in the cage the whole time.

The tiger was taken to Dallas Animal Services and is now in the custody of Texas Parks and Wildlife.

It is unclear if Moore will face charges relating to his alleged possession of the tiger.

Moore was arrested back in 2018 on charges of evading arrest with a previous conviction relating to outstanding warrants in his name in Cedar Hill and DeSoto.

In March of this year he was arrested in Kaufman County Kaufman County on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and the possession of more than two ounces of marijuana.
