A 9 month old child was ejected from a vehicle Sunday during a car crash in Arlington and died in the hospital Tuesday.
According to reports, the driver of a 2009 Ford Escape SUV was driving on the eastbound side of I-20 near 287 around 2pm.
The driver then swerved in front of an 18 wheeler causing it to collide into the back of their vehicle.
The vehicle then veered off the roadway rolling multiple times before coming to a stop.
When officers arrived they found a 9 month old baby boy had been ejected from the vehicle and five others inside the vehicle were injured.
The infant as well as five others in the vehicle were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
The infant was hospitalized and passed away Tuesday. He was identified as Hector Zadquiel Escamilla Perez.
No charges have been filed at this time.
