37 Year Old Registered Sex Offender Arrested By Dallas Police For Child Pornography

Dallas police arrested a 37 year old man on promotion of child pornography charges.
On July 26, Detectives with the Dallas Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Squad/ North Texas ICAC Task Force and the Dallas Police Department’s Sex Offender Apprehension Program issued a warrant for Gareth Nelson‘s arrest.
Nelson was later arrested following a month long investigation.
While in custody he admitted to using an Electronic Service Provider to collect and distribute child pornography. He also admitted to communicating with what he thought was underage girls online.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be filed. His bond is set at $75,000.
