An investigation is underway after a 24 year old man is killed and another is injured during a fight in Dallas.
According to reports, officers were called to a shooting scene, shortly before midnight, on the 2000 block of Keats Dr.
Upon arrival they found the victim, 22 year old Isarel Martinez, in a field suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
While investigating officers learned that 24 year old
Jacob Bautista got into a fight at the location. His friend Martinez pulls out a handgun hands it to Bautista who then began to pistol whip the person he was as fighting.
Soon after someone in the crowd opens fire striking Bautista and Martinez.
Both men were transported to an area hospital where Martinez died from his injuries. Bautista was treated for minor injuries. He is charged with aggravated assault.
