Dallas police are investigating after a 21 year old woman was found shot multiple times on a sidewalk Monday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 7:40 p.m. on the 4100 block of Hamilton Avenue in South Dallas.
Upon arrival they found the victim, 21 year old Asia Womack on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshots. She was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
At this time authorities are investigating to determine the circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting. No suspect(s) have been arrested at this time.
This investigation remains ongoing.
