Desoto police are investigating after a 20 year old was shot at a 7Eleven parking lot Thursday.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1500 block of N. Hampton Rd around 3pm.
Upon arrival they noticed the victim, Antreal Simmons,20 in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Authorities don’t believe this to a random shooting but have not arrested a suspect(s).
This investigation remains ongoing.
