13 Year Old Teen Arrested After Fatally Stabbing Mother During A Fight Over A Video Game
A 13 year old Arizona teen has been arrested after he fatally stabbed his mother during an argument over a video game.
Officers were called to a residence in Rita Ranch around 9pm Tuesday night.
Upon arrival they found the victim, Mary Ainuu,60 suffering from multiple stab wounds and other serious injuries.
She was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The victims son, Isaiah Ainuu,13 fled the scene before officers could arrive. He was later arrested and charged with first degree murder/domestic violence. He was booked into Pima County Juvenile Detention Center.
According to reports the victim got into an argument with her son over a video game.
Isiah became upset and hit his mother over the head with a dumbbell. He then went into the kitchen, retrieved a knife and stabbed his mother 8 or 9 times as she tried to escape.
The mother went to a neighbors house where they called police and she was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
