A 12 year old girl was shot at a Dallas hotel Friday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call at the Town Suites on the 8200 block of Brookriver Dr around 10pm.
Upon arrival they found a 12 year old girl on the ground suffering from a single gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
During the investigation, officers learned that the victims mother and the female suspect had been involved in an argument as they were leaving. The woman had a male passenger inside her vehicle and when the victims mother parked her car the suspect drove back around.
The suspect then got out of her red Dodge Challenger and opened fire once striking the 12 year old girl.
She then got back in her vehicle and fled the scene before officers could arrive.
The suspect remains at large and this investigation is ongoing.
