Shundale Barnett, Justin Johnson, and Cornelius Smith were apprehended in relation to the murder of rapper Young Dolph.

Now, one of the men has gone missing after being freed from an Indiana jail in January.

Shundale Barnett, 27, faces accessory-after-the-fact charges in Young Dolph’s murder. Authorities say that he assisted Johnson and Smith in leaving Shelby County, Memphis, after the fatal shooting.

On January 21, Barnett was freed from jail in Clay County, Indiana, although he was supposed to be extradited back to Memphis.

Now, police do not know where Barnett is located and have put out another warrant for his arrest. This time, it includes attempted first-degree murder and theft of property charges.

“We held Barnett, contacted Shelby County, and kept him on their warrant. We were then contacted on January 21. They told us that they were no longer wanting to come and pick up Mr. Barnett. And that we were to release him at that time,” stated a sheriff’s officer in Clay County.

It is still unclear why Barnett was released.

The other two suspects are still jailed and have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges. Their upcoming court hearing will take place on March 24.
