Three-time Grammy Award winner, Megan Thee Stallion, 26, graduated from Texas Southern University on Saturday afternoon. She received her bachelor of science degree in health administration.

“Good morning hotties!!!” It’s graduation dayyyy,” she expressed on Twitter. Megan also posted a link to her graduation ceremony with her 34 million Twitter and Instagram followers.

A little after 12 p.m., she received her diploma and shook hands with the president of the university, Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young. Additionally, she took selfies with faculty members as she crossed the stage.

Megan’s motivation to get her degree came from her mother, Holly Thomas, who died from brain cancer in 2019. “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” she has stated. Megan also wanted her grandmother who has passed away and her grandmother who is still living, a former teacher, to be proud of her, as well.

Megan’s goal is to use her money from rapping to open an assisted-living residence and allow her classmates to operate it.
