2 Year-Old Girl Injured in Dallas Shooting: Investigation Underway Following Incident at Circle M Food Store

Dallas police are investigating a shooting incident that injured a 2-year-old girl on Sunday night.

Officers responded to reports of the shooting at around 10 p.m. on the 3400 block of St. Francis Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the young girl suffering from a gunshot wound and quickly transported her to a local hospital. She is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation revealed that some suspects at the Circle M Food Store fired shots at someone inside a car at a gas pump. Tragically, one of the bullets struck the girl in the leg while she was walking with her mother. Fortunately, she is expected to fully recover.

Authorities confirmed that the intended target of the shooting was not injured, and the suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Officers are actively working to identify and locate those involved, and the investigation is ongoing.
