Dallas Shooting Investigation: Man Found Dead After Early Morning Incident on Rawlins Street

Dallas police are looking into a shooting that resulted in the death of a man.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on February 5, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Rawlins Street following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim, identified as 45-year-old Carlos Manuel Rivera, who had sustained gunshot wounds at the location. Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet identified any suspects and continue to pursue the investigation.
