Drunk Driver Collides Head-On with Dallas Patrol Car

A Dallas police officer sustained injuries early Sunday morning in a head-on collision with another vehicle.

Reports indicate that just before 5 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 9100 block of N. Central Expressway to investigate an incident involving a wrong-way driver and a patrol car.

Upon their arrival, they discovered that a Honda HRV had collided head-on with a Dodge Charger squad car while an officer was inside.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities subsequently arrested 22-year-old Kalisa Bienvenue on charges of DWI.
