Dallas police are investigating the murder of an elderly man.
On January 30, 2025, officers carried out a welfare check at a residence on the 600 block of Tenna Loma Court. Upon their arrival, personnel from Dallas Fire-Rescue discovered the body of Jack Douglas Tomlin, who was 68 years old.
The details surrounding the circumstances of Tomlin’s death are still being examined, and the Dallas County Medical Examiner has determined that the manner of death is homicide. The investigation remains ongoing.
