Juvenile Electrocuted at Saginaw Power Substation

Authorities are investigating an incident involving a juvenile who was electrocuted at a power supply terminal.

On Saturday, January 25th, Saginaw Fire and Police, along with Fort Worth Fire and MedStar EMS, responded to the electrocution at a power substation located in the 1000 block of Grand Central Parkway.

According to officials, the individual, who had made threats of self-harm, fled from officers and was later electrocuted at the power supply terminal. Officers managed the fire and summoned EMS for assistance.

A CareFlite helicopter transported the juvenile male to Parkland Hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries. His current condition remains unknown.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
