Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a 36 year old man dead.
On December 23, Police were dispatched to a shooting incident in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place, around 11:30 p.m.
Initial investigations revealed that 36-year-old Oliver Moffett was shot and succumbed to his injuries. A suspect was found at a nearby hospital and is currently in custody facing pending charges.
The identity of the suspect will not be disclosed until after they are booked into jail. This investigation is ongoing.
