Mesquite police are investigating a shooting near an elementary school that left one person injured.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon outside Pirrung Elementary School. Fortunatley, the school was closed for Thanksgiving break so no children were injured.
According to reports one person was shot and transported to an area hospital with their condition unknown.
No arrest have been made at this time.
