Ex-Rockwall, Texas, firefighter Jason Neal Frankenfield it said to have shared child pornography.

Authorities found that Neal had distributed files that contained sexual material that depicted juveniles.

On June 19, Rockwall authorities began an investigation after receiving information from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators reviewed the information and obtained an IP address that led back to a residence that belonged to Frankenfield.

While looking further into the matter, authorities said that they found messages from Frankenfield’s IP address that had graphic pictures of girls ages 8-11.

Court documents show that when questioned about the material, Frankenfield confessed that he had shared the sexual content. However, it was just for pretending.

On Sunday, Frankenfield was apprehended and is now facing two counts of possession or promotion of child pornography, which are felonies.

His bond was placed at $100,000, and he has now been released.

The firefighter first began working with the city of Rockwall in 2019, but as of June 26, he is no longer employed with them.

Detectives don’t think any of the minors involved were in Rockwall.
