An investigation is underway after a man was found deceased inside a parked car Thursday afternoon.
Dallas police responded to a call for service on the 2300 block of Fernwood Avenue. When they arrived they found a deceased male inside the trunk of a vehicle.
While investigating the scene officers learned that the victim had been shot and that the vehicle had been parked there for a few days.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the fatal shooting. No arrest have been made at this time.
The victims identity will be released once confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
This remains an ongoing investigation.
