The fatal shooting of a man in the town of Lillian has deputies in Johnson County, Texas, currently investigating the matter.
The shooting occurred in the 8200 block of Kramer Street, and when authorities arrived to the location, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot injury. He was taken to a Mansfield medical facility where he succumbed to his wounds.
It has been reported that someone called authorities, saying that their husband had been shot.
While investigating, deputies talked to relatives, bystanders, and the suspect who is a minor. They now think that the minor was attempting to keep his mother from being harmed any further than she had already been.
