Some supporters of Donald Trump decided to wear fake ear bandages to the Republican convention to join forces with Trump after he experienced an assassination attempt.
On Saturday, the shooting occurred in Pennsylvania, and Mr. Trump has been observed with a patch on his ear every since.
Per Sky News, numerous of those who attended the Republican National Convention, in Milwaukee, were observed with some of the same white bandages attached to their ears on Thursday.
Trump is expected to formally accept the GOP nomination at the convention on Thursday night. This well be the first time he has given a speech since Saturday’s occurrence.
Last week, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 22, was fatally shot by authorities after he shot his rifle at Trump during a rally, close to Pittsburgh.
Trump raised his fist in the air and yelled the words “fight,” following Secret Service Agents covering him and prior to him being quickly taken away.
Those who support Trump are now using it as a “battle cry,” saying it back to him.
It isn’t certain what exact wounds that Trump suffered. Ronny Jackson, his physician, has stated that part of Trump’s upper right ear is missing, but it’s unclear whether he is still seeking medical attention.
