Best known for her starring role in “Beverly Hills, 90210,” actress Shannen Doherty has died. Reports indicate that she passed away on Saturday, in Malibu, California.
“…On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease. The devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was surrounded by her loved ones and her dog, Bowie.”
Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. The disease went into remission for a brief period. However, it returned two years later.
Many know Doherty as “Brenda Walsh,” in the popular 90s TV show “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
She also played the role of Prue Halliwell in “Charmed,” and in addition to that, she dabbled in reality TV in “Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty,” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
Shannen was 53.
