Mansfield police are investigating after a woman fell out of a vehicle and then was ran over by another vehicle.
The incident happened on June 23, shortly after 1 a.m., when officers responded to a major crash on the 800 block of FM 917.
Authorities were notified that the caller was the victims mother and that she was driving her 21 year old daughter home after she was unable to drive herself, due to being intoxicated.
The mother said they were traveling on FM 917 when her daughter fell out of the vehicle. She then said there were multiple cars behind her and that she believed one hit her daughter.
She made her way back around to where her daughter was and Mansfield police and Fire/EMS arrived and the woman was transported via via CareFlite to a Fort Worth trauma center.
The victim was said to be in stable condition.
No arrest have been made and this remains an ongoing investigation.
