On June 11, just after 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the 400 block of South Winnetka Avenue.
Upon arriving they found 23 year old Stephano Osorio and a 16 year old male suffering from a gunshot. Both men were transported to an area hospital where Osorio was pronounced dead. The teen was listed in stable condition.
During the investigation officers learned that 20 year old Salvador Martinez was responsible for the deadly shooting. He was later arrested and taken into Dallas county jail.
Martinez was charged with murder and remains in Dallas County jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
