Shooting In South Dallas Leaves One Dead And 2 Injured

On june 7, just before 9:30 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 3400 block of S. Malcolm X Blvd. Upon arriving they located two male shooting victims.

One of the men, 43 year old Edward Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

While investigating officers found another shooting victim about a mile away and he was treated for non life threatening injuries.

According to reports a group of people were hanging out on S. Malcolm X Blvd and Warren Street when an unknown vehicle drove by and opened fire. The suspect(s) then sped away before officers arrived.

No arrest have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
