On Tuesday night, at about 10:20 p.m., Plano Fire Rescue and Police answered to a call regarding a two-car wreck at Tennyson Parkway and Parkwood Blvd.

Authorities say that a 19-year-old man had been behind the wheel of an SUV that had been traveling eastbound. The vehicle had been going at a high rate of speed subsequent to going through a red light and t-boning a sedan.

At the scene, the 27-year-old driver of the sedan was declared deceased.

The other driver was unharmed.

While investigating, authorities believe that speed was a factor.

An investigation is on-going, and any charges against the at-fault driver will be released.
