Woman’s Body And Over 30 Cremated Human Remains Found in Formal Funeral Home Owners Residence

A woman’s body and over 30 sets of cremated remains were found inside a former funeral owners home.

Miles Harford, former owner of Apollo Funeral and Cremation Services, was evicted from his southwest Denver residence on February 6.

The remains, some in temporary urns, were scattered throughout the property. Authorities revealed that the deceased woman found in the hearse was 63 years old and had passed away in August 2022. He is suspected to be linked to individuals who passed away between 2012 and 2021, investigators are using tags and labels to identify the families.

Harford may have provided incorrect remains to families and allowing the services to proceed.
The funeral business has been closed since September 2022, An arrest warrant was issued for Harford on charges including abuse of a corpse, forgery, and theft.
