A woman has been indicted by a grand jury after being accused of running a criminal enterprise that left products stolen from Target stores in multiple different states.

A Cherokee County, Georgia, grand jury indicted Claudia Hornea on two counts of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO).

Authorities say that between Sept. 1 and Oct. 17, Hornea and multiple co-conspirators stole from Target stores in Georgia, Texas, Alabama, and North Carolina. In all, records show her stealing from 24 Target locations.

Thr indictment didn’t list her co-conspirators.

Hornea has been accused of stealing more than $100,000 worth of products from Target. These items include skin care products, televisions, clothing, gaming accessories, an Apple watch, toys, ink cartridges, and baby products.

In order to steal the items, Hornea and her criminal enterprise are said to have taken several steps.

They had a driver to drop off and stage as they stole, using children and teens as co-conspirators. They also used boxes and totes to hide items and utilized a lookout to avoid being caught. In addition to that, they used counter-surveillance methods to prevent being caught, and would resell the stolen items. Finally, they would commit the crime of theft by stealing to keep up with the enterprise.

If she is found guilty of the RICO charges against her, Hornea could receive up to 20 years in prison.
