Woman forgot her keys and was shot after breaking into her own home in Harris County

Harris County Sheriff’s shoot a woman after receiving a call regarding a burglary. When they arrive at the apartment, they see a broken window and believe someone had entered the apartment that wasn’t supposed to be there. They then saw the woman holding a gun and opened fire, shooting the woman. After further investigating, authorities learned that the woman had broken into her own apartment because she forgot her keys. The woman was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
