The Dallas Police Department has stated that one person has been taken into custody for a fatal shooting in Dallas on Christmas afternoon.
At about 2:30 p.m., officers went to the scene of the shooting in the 2700 block of Lenway St. They then discovered one person suffering from a gunshot injury.
The victim was declared deceased at the scene.
A possible cause of the shooting isn’t known, but an investigation is continuing.
