Two Sisters Murdered In Farmers Branch; Suspect Arrested

Authorities say that they have apprehended a man that they think is responsible for killing two sisters in Farmers Branch, Texas.

On Friday, November 24, Catalina Valdez, 47, and Merced Bailon, 42, were discovered deceased in the older sister’s residence on Castleton Place.

Police have noted that Jose Santiago Chairez has been taken into custody for the murders.

Chairez is now being held without bond because he is thought to be in the country unlawfully.

Authorities haven’t provided any information concerning how the two sisters died.

There is no threat to the public, and an investigation is continuing.
