On Wednesday, three people were apprehended for supposedly operating a high-end brothel network. This was done out of apartment complexes in Cambridge, Dedham, and Watertown, Massachusetts and Virginia, too.

Documents show that the sex ring was created around secrecy and only open to certain rich and well-connected individuals.

Those involved in the brothel include doctors, lawyers, scientists, executives at high-tech companies, military officers, and others.

30-year-old Junmyung Lee, 41-year-old Han Lee, and 68-year-old James Lee have been charged with conspiracy to coerce and entice travel to engage in illegal sex activity.

Sources report that beginning in July 2020, the three operated several brothels in many states by luring mostly Asian women to Massachusetts and Virginia to be prostitutes.

They supposedly managed two websites, advertising nude Asian models for professional pictures at luxurious studios as a cover for prostitution.

The trio rented high-end apartments and utilized them as brothels, authorities say. The rent for some of the apartments was as much as $3,600 per month.

Appointments cost about $350 to $600, in cash, per hour. Clients had to fill out personal information prior to making an appointment. They were then provided with a menu of services at the brothel.

If they are found guilty, all three could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
