Three High School Students Taken Into Custody For Creating ‘Hit List’ To Injure, Kill

Authorities in St. Johns County, Florida, say that three students at a high school were arrested for creating a “hit list” and “lethal hit list,” targeting several students.

15-year-old Nikita Calantropo, 14-year-old Ron Quinones, and 14-year-old Kiryl Nerad, all students of Creekside High School, were arrested.

Reports indicate that after being alerted of concerning communication between the suspects, deputies uncovered troubling text messages. The group had been discussing students that they would target, including images with faces circled. An aerial image of the high school, with an on-campus area circled, and the use of firearms was also found and discussed, authorities say.

Police say that the ‘hit list’ was for individuals that the group desired to physically harm. However, the “lethal hit list” was made for students they wanted to kill.

All three teens are now facing charges of written threats to kill or to do bodily harm and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

The suspects are being held in the St. Johns County Jail.
