The 28-year-old son of Buc-ee’s co-founder Don Wasek, was apprehended on Tuesday and has been charged with 28 counts of invasive visual recording. This came after he supposedly recorded several people  utilizing spy camera devices.

Reports indicate that two people called the Travis County, Texas, sheriff’s office in May. They had disclosed what had occurred at Mitchell Wasek’s family lake house on Lake Travis in Spicewood. Documents show that Don Wasek is the owner of the residence.

The witnesses said that Mitchell had asked them to come to the home in May. Two friends had gone with them, and one of those people works in cybersecurity. He found that a charging port had been plugged into the wall of their bedroom and contained a hidden camera.

After finding the camera, the group left the house and took the device. Using the card reader, they were able to look at the contents of a micro card from the camera and discovered dozens of recordings of themselves and other individuals in bathrooms and bedrooms as they were undressing. The camera and card were eventually given to the Dallas Police Department.

When the material on the camera was sent to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, 68 video files with 13 males and females were discovered. The recordings depicted people using toilets, taking a shower, changing attire, and/or having sex. The videos go back to 2021.

Wasek was freed from jail on a $280,000 bond. He has been charged with state felony offenses that could lead to up to two years in prison.

  1. 2 years is not long enough for this young man. He’s just twisted and 2 years is just not going to teach him anything.

  2. I find funny that the offspring of some of the wealthiest people cam be some of the dumbest people on the planet and for what? Kiks.
