A man is in custody for murder after calling 911 to turn himself in for murder.
The incident occurred on September 27 on the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 6:30 p.m.
When officers responded they found the victim, 75 year old Leamon Beechum, laying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 911 caller 28 year old Mark Beechum told police that he and Leamon had gotten into an argument that turned physical.
Officers arrested Mark Beechum and he was charged with murder.
